THROUGH THE LENS OF A CAR WINDOW: a changed view

At dusk, as the sun went down on an old street... a worn bicycle had fallen over and the views became bent as darkness settled in and almost nothing remained of once was.

there came an unexpected loss which melted into blue regret

after the last smooth wave of orange autumn settled into

the anticipation of a great white blinding snowfall 

at a time when everything was strangely falling away.

after thoughts of what might have been and blurry pages were turned

this death carved deep melancholy into my new grey days 

and I walked a little slower under cloudy skies and icy streets

and tried to see new possibilities through a hazy window 

that has been my unchanging view since forever.

A JOURNEY

Hello, "Maurice!" I flew out of the closet when I understood my complexities but that later included remaining the woman into which I was born. 

But I went back to being a girl:

after the good deeds

the blue sky blended with clouds

ennui filled the cup
